This search box below is from Google Co-op. Basically it is a customized search engine that I can limit the searches to certain sites. Right now I have included around 30 of the internet guides that are on my site as a test. Basically if you search for hotels, you will be getting results from only these sites. I’ll see how it works. Frankly, I like this idea a lot, but I will have to see how useful it is in practice.
I am also trying out Swicki customized search engines. It is very much the same concept as Google Co-op, but I can’t narrow the search to only the sites I add. Instead you ‘train’ the search engine and then disqualify non-relevant sites. We’ll see how that works. Here is the the link to the Ukraine City Search Swicki. The search engine isn’t complete, but I am testing it to see if it has some use.
