The Warm Winter
Though it has cooled a bit in Ukraine, according to this short piece from Ukrainian Radio, ten temperature records were set within fifteen days in January, and the 14th of January beat a record standing since 1921. The region had nine consecutive weeks of above-normal weather and many locations averaged 7-12 degrees C above normal.
